Requirements for Emergency Exit and Egress Lighting

Any commercial, industrial and government building is required to have exit signs and emergency lights in the US.  This is a Federal law.  With regard to California, the regulations state that any business open to public, or having employees (even seasonally or temporarily) must have exit sign and lighting.
